Kate Grossman, MD
A board-certified internal medicine physician, Dr. Kate Grossman joined About in September 2006 as the Medical Director. Dr. Grossman oversees About’s new medical review board, comprised of physicians from prominent medical institutions who review content for medical accuracy. As a member of the North American Society for Obstetric Medicine, an organization of internists dedicated to the medical care of pregnant women, Dr. Grossman has worked as an advocate for women’s health issues, and in particular, has developed an interest in the cardiovascular consequences of pregnancy complications.
Dr. Grossman graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a degree in human biology, and received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.
