Dr. Emmy Ludwig is an assistant attending physician in the Gastroenterology and Nutrition Service of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY and an assistant professor of medicine at Weill Medical College of Cornell University also in New York. Dr. Ludwig practices general gastorenterology and specializes in issues unique to the cancer patient. Her research interests include familial pancreatic cancer, and hepatitis B reactivation in the setting of chemotherapy.
Dr. Ludwig is board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology, as well as internal medicine. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastroenterology, and New York Society for Gastroenterology.
A native of New York, Dr. Ludwig graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York in 2000 where she was elected to the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She remained at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center where she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine in 2003. Following residency she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, also in New York.
