Dr. Gans is a psychiatrist on staff at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Mass., is an instructor in psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and is also in private practice.
Education
Dr. Gans received his undergraduate degree at Loyola University in Chicago, and earned his medical degree at Rush University Medical College (also in Chicago). Dr. Gans did his residency in psychiatry at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He is a graduate of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
